Walking around camp while talking to my friend,
Glancing at my watch, realizing I still had hours to spend.
Bored from the on-going conversation, I look up, away from the ground,
Little did I know, I would be dumbfound...
Your shrewd eyes caught hold of my virginal gaze,
Immediately, I look away, feeling the blood in my cheeks ablaze...
I take my seat, trying not to look at you again,
Struggling to keep my wild heart, well tamed...
After a while I get up to get a drink or two,
Walking without company, I wasn't supposed to do...
With bottle of beer in my hand and my thoughts in the clouds, I swiftly turn around and bump into well-build, muscular pecs,
You apologize... Damn, that voice send chills down my spine, taking the long cut through my neck...
Nodding in response, I flushed over and over, wondering how flawless you seemed,
My, My, you were so much more better than the prince I once dreamed...
I turn on my heel away from you and almost immediately stumbled down,
Before I hit the sand, your strong hands helped me up, without a frown...
Led me to a seat and asked my name,
Curious as a kitty, you interrogated and complimented, like I was a mighty dame...
While enjoying the night, you touch my hand,
Inferno, disastrous, catastrophic; In my head, sanity suddenly seemed banned...
You raise the bars by making the moment intense,
Left me flabbergasted, pondering why is everything so full of suspense...
Just as the night ended, you gave me your digits; numbers on a paper,
Which flew with the wind when I slept with the window open during my slumber...
In those hours that we had spend, you boost my esteem, made me feel special, made me feel loved,
I should have been braver, someone should have pushed me; given me a shove...
Could we have been something more? Would you have stayed forever?
Answers to these, I will know, never...
And in that moment I knew, I wanted you, more than ever...
