She was going through this phase,
Always seemed half-dazed...
Lost in her misery,
A stage no one was aware of, a sight no one could see...
The ghosts from her past pass by, make fun of her scars, laugh at her fears,
Unnoticed to all, went her tears...
Those ghosts were all around her; it was her they were taunting,
'Liar', 'freak', 'good-for-nothing'; their words for her were demeaning; it was truly haunting...
And one simple day, when she cried for help,
The people she counted on, absconded her yelp...
Just as she was about to give up on all,
A guardian angel looked upon her, through her rise and fall...
Her weeping eyes looked up from her hands, searching for mercy,
That's when she saw his smile; piercing through the pain, so fine, so mighty...
She couldn't believe in such goodness,
He put her faith in him to a test...
He knew her suffering, knew her pain,
The angel wanted her to forget her past and move on again...
So he stayed with her till she stopped grieving,
She unknowingly started growing her fantasy wing...
He touched her cheek and said, 'you'll never know how beautiful you are to me',
And finally, from all her pain, she broke free!
Pumped with love, care and strength,
She can now go up to any length...
